What's NEW

So, I meant to get this post up two days ago but of course it got deleted off my computer and thank god for the fact these automatically save every few minutes.Anyway, heres whats new....

I made 3 sales on Etsy this week, which isn't too bad. I think Etsy is really slow for everyone right now. I had big orders at the beginning of the summer but now its at a slow crawl. My earring sale didn't go very well. I had my earrings at some of the lowest prices ever, some were below 50% off and I only sold one pair. That kind of hit me in the head. But is guess whatever happens happens. I relisted some necklaces today that have had TONS of views and never sold. Some things I just don't understand.

I did find out yesterday that my Cape Cod bobby pins made the front page of Etsy on 6/19!! I was very happy to hear even though I missed the day and didn't actually see them while they were up; someone told me. So I completed one goal. That was my first item to hit the front page. :)

I honestly cannot believe how many celebrities have passed in the past week or so. It's unreal.

RIP Michael Jackson

RIP Farrah Fawcett

RIP Ed McMahon

RIP Billy Mays

RIP Karl Malden

I really feel for their families that must be so hard. Everyone in Hollywood has just got to be in shock right now. I feel the TV coverage for Michael is just too much. We all have unanswered questions but this has become a media circus.

Happy 4th of July!

We spent the 4th hanging around our house and just relaxing which is nice since we haven't had the chance to do that in a while. Then for the fireworks last night we got invited to go on our friends boat and we had a front row seat to the fireworks. It was fabulous. I hope everyone had a great 4th and enjoys what we have left of the weekend. :)
Best Wishes,
Julie
