Wishing this was my backyard....
Today I was taking my dog for a walk and I realized that it was about time that I cleaned out, weeded and planted the seeds for my garden this year. I had been waiting so long for winter to end, wanting to plant my garden for months. Now was the time and it was very exciting. :)
When I was raking out the dead plants I heard something slither and screamed.I ran to the house and got my sister to show her the cute little toad I had found hiding in the plants! Thank goodness, because I thought it was a snake.ICK. SO I got everything seeded, I planted green beans, tomatoes, spinach, bachelor button and some wildflower mixes. It should be very colorful this year.
I will try and have some pictures up when the little seeds sprout!

lol, I went out today and those same thoughts of cleaning, weeding and planting came to mind as well. I hope I'm fortunate enough to run into a little frog...or any kind of little critter that helps me believe this winter has finally ended. I see the trees and flowers blooming but the little creatures are waiting for me come find them I suppose.
